The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist an investigation into a street robbery occurring yesterday afternoon in the 1500 block 11th Avenue in Regina.
Police were dispatched at 12:35pm yesterday to the 1500 block 11th Av, where a male suspect had pushed over a female victim and taken her purse. The female received minor injuries to her elbow. The male suspect then fled on foot, southbound in the alley.
Members of the public gave chase, but the suspect got away. An area check by Patrol units was unsuccessful in locating the suspect. The suspect is described by witnesses as male, approximately 25-30 years old, 5’8” tall, with a darker complexion, short dark hair, wearing a blue shirt and black hat.
