The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation. This is the result of an incident that occurred in the early-morning hours of May 23, 2018 (today).
At approximately 1:13 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, police patrol members were dispatched to a house in the 1100 block of Retallack Street, where they located an adult male, who was confirmed deceased by EMS. Several other police units were dispatched to that address; they secured the scene and the Coroner was requested to attend. At this early stage in the investigation, there are no other details for release. Investigators and the Coroner have determined the identity of the deceased person and are in the process of notifying his next-of-kin. The identity of the deceased person will not be released at this time.
This investigation is ongoing; police and the Office of the Chief Coroner will continue to gather information to help determine the circumstances of this person’s death.
