The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred this afternoon.
Police were dispatched, at about 12:50 p.m., on Saturday May 5, 2018, to a business in the 800 block of Argyle Street North. Information received in the call indicated the business had just been robbed by a male believed to have a firearm. At this early stage in the investigation, there are limited details to describe the suspect. The suspect demanded cash from staff in the business. No one was physically injured in this robbery. The suspect was gone before police arrived at the scene but it’s believed the suspect was on foot. An area check by police proved to be negative. At this time, police are gathering any available information that may help identify a suspect and indicate his direction of travel from the business.
