On May 16, 2018, at approximately 1:24 am, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Robinson Street for the report of a weapons offence involving a firearm. Information received was that approximately 45 minutes earlier, a group of male suspects approached a 29 year-old male outside of a residence, and after a verbal argument, one of the suspects in the group discharged a firearm at the 29 year-old male, shooting him. The suspects then fled.
Police arrived and the 29 year-old male was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. An area search conducted by police did not locate possible suspects.
