The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that could assist in a sexual assault investigation.
On Friday, May 25, 2018, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a reported sexual assault that occurred near Arcola Avenue and Lacon Street. Police spoke with the 14 year-old victim. Police learned that the victim was walking along a bike path, when a male approached from behind, pushed the victim to the ground and sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect male fled east bound towards the Ring Road along the bike path.
The victim described the male as being approximately 6’ tall and heavy set.
The Investigation is ongoing.
