The Regina Police Service is asking the public for any information that could assist in an investigation into a weapons offence yesterday evening.
On Saturday May 26, 2018, at approximately 11:50 pm, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Angus Street for a report of an injured male. When police arrived they located an adult male, who was the victim of an apparent assault. EMS also arrived to treat the victim and transported him to hospital with injuries considered to be serious. Although this investigation is in its very early stages, it appears the male was assaulted with an edged weapon in the 1400 block of Angus Street. Police are investigating to determine what led up to this assault and who may be responsible.
