On Thursday, June 7, 2018, police were notified of a sexual assault which occurred in Regina of December of 2017.
In December of 2017, a 36 year-old female was in the company of a 33 year-old male in a residence. The male began to shout angrily, and threw an object. When the female tried to leave, the male grabbed her, and physically assaulted her, causing injury. He then sexually assaulted the female. The female managed to escape the residence, but left her belongings, which included a large sum of cash. When she attempted to contact the male to retrieve her belongings, the male refused.
On June 8, 2018, the thirty-three year-old male was arrested and charged.
Thirty-three year-old Christopher Adam SEITZ, of Regina, is charged with:
- Sexual Assault [CC 271];
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm [CC 267(B)]; and
- Theft Under $5,000 [CC 334(B)].
SEITZ made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 9:30 am.
