A 28 year-old female and a 26 year-old male are facing drug trafficking charges as the result of continued investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina. Quantities of a number of different drugs were seized in this investigation.
Through investigation, officers were able to conduct a vehicle stop on a vehicle suspected to be involved in drug trafficking, on June 2, 2018, in the north-west part of the city. The male driver and female passenger of the vehicle were placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle yielded a large duffel bag containing smaller bags of substances believed to be cannabis marihuana and psilocybin (mushrooms). The vehicle was towed for further investigation; a more detailed search located quantities of substances believed to be cocaine and MDMA (ecstasy). Subsequent investigation led to numerous charges against the male and female suspects. The male was also found to have an outstanding warrant from rural Saskatchewan.
Twenty-eight year-old Tammy Lynn Ladawna THORNE, and 26 year-old Hyatt Tate BRAUMBERGER, both of Regina, are jointly charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (cocaine) for the Purpose of Trafficking, [5(2) CDSA];
