The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist the investigation into a robbery occurring yesterday evening in the 3100 block of 5th Avenue in Regina.
On Sunday, August 26, 2018, at approximately 6:40 PM, police were dispatched to the 3100 block of 5th Avenue for the report of a robbery. Information provided was that an 18 year-old male was seated in his parked vehicle, when a male opened the door to the vehicle and demanded he get out. The suspect then assaulted and threatened the male, who got out of his vehicle. The suspect drove away, southbound, with the victim’s vehicle.
The suspect is described as male, muscular build, round face with stubble, short black hair, and a tattoo of letters on the side of his neck. The suspect was wearing a black shirt with a graphic on the front.
The vehicle is described as a white 2008 Saturn Astra with minor damage to the front passenger fender.
