Two people were taken into police custody on September 23, 2018 as the result of a police investigation that involved patrol members as well as members of the Crisis Negotiation, Special Weapons and Tactics, and Canine Teams in the 2600 block of Lindsay Street. Charged in relation to this incident are:
Twenty year old Zachary Louis BLACKSIOUX of Piapot FN is charged with:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition [117.01(1) CC];
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]; and
- Breach of Recognizance [145(3) CC].
BLACKSIOUX will make his first court appearance in Provincial Court on September 24, 2018 at 9:30 AM.
A seventeen year-old female, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- Assault a Peace Officer [270(1)(a) CC].
She will make her first court appearance in Youth Court on November 6, 2018.
