Two adults have been charged following an incident involving a stolen vehicle on Wednesday.
On October 10, 2018 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers observed a vehicle on Scarth Street and 2nd Avenue. A query of the license plate confirmed that the vehicle was stolen. Police followed the vehicle, which stopped in an alley behind the 200 block of Toronto Street. Two male suspects fled from the vehicle. Police were able to apprehend the two suspects quickly and without incident.
Twenty-three year-old Jordan Joseph LYLYK, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [355(A) CC]; and
- 2 x Fail to comply with undertaking [145(3) CC].
LYLYK will appear in Provincial Court for these charges on November 21, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
Twenty-two year-old Cain Andrew CRAWFORD, of Regina, is charged with:
- Mischief under $5000 [430(4) CC].
CRAWFORD appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on October 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
