A 22 year-old Regina male is facing numerous charges related to recent incidents of break and enter after being apprehended on Thursday night.
On November 1, 2018 at approximately 11:00 p.m., while on patrol in Harbour Landing, officers observed a male riding a bicycle, carrying a crowbar. Officers approached the male, confirmed his identity, and determined he was in breach of his probation. The male was placed under arrest. A search of the male revealed multiple break-in tools. Further investigation led to evidence connecting this individual to a series of break and enters, mainly to condominium residences from September 28, 2018 to October 30, 2018. The male was subsequently charged in connection with these cases.
Twenty-two year-old Zachary Walter Robert HAHN, of Regina, is charged with:
- 10 x Break and enter with intent [348(1)(A) CC];
- 5 x Break, enter and commit [348(1)(B) CC];
- Possession of break in instruments [351(1) CC]; and
- 16 x Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC].
HAHN will appear in Provincial Court on these charges on November 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
