The Regina Police Service is asking for the assistance of any member of the public who may have information to help solve a case in which a firearm was discharged into the front window of a home in the 600 block of Athol Street early this morning. The house was occupied by a family at the time. Fortunately, no one was physically injured.
On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at approximately 4:20 a.m., police were dispatched to a house in the 600 block of Athol Street after receiving a report of shots fired. A resident of the home heard two or three gun shots and the sound of a vehicle speeding away. One projectile went through the front window and struck the television in the living room. Another is believed to have stuck in the window frame. Police attended and gathered up some physical evidence as part of the investigation. Police will also canvass the neighbourhood to see if there are any witnesses who may offer information. At the time of this incident, there was a family living in the house: adults and small children. Fortunately, no one was physically injured in this event.
