At approximately 3:45 a.m., on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, the Regina Police Service received a report of a single vehicle collision near the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Winnipeg Street, where a vehicle struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, and two passengers, was taken to hospital. The two passengers remain in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, a 21 year-old male from Quebec, previously reported to have sustained life-threating injuries, was pronounced deceased on November 10, 2018. Next of kin have been notified. The identity of the victim will not be released.
