On December 28, 2018 at approximately 11:00 p.m., as a result of an investigation by the Regina Street Gangs Unit, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 100 block of College Avenue East. SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) teams assisted in the enforcement action. There were no injuries sustained during the incident.
As a result of the investigation and search that followed, several items were located: weapons, ammunition, drugs, drug paraphernalia and stolen property. Several substances that were seized under the CDSA included a quantity of Fentanyl, Heroin, Methamphetamine and Cocaine.
Forty year-old Jason Alvin URSULAN, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 5(2) x 3];
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order [CC 117.01(1) x 3];
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [CC 355(B)]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [CC 145 (3)].
Thirty-one year-old Megan Rochelle SCHUETT, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 5(2) x 3]; and
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [CC 355(B)].
Forty-one year-old James Albert SEAL, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 4(1)]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [CC 145 (3)].
Nineteen year-old Matthew GOFORTH, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 4(1) x 2].
Jason URSULAN, Megan SCHUETT, and James SEAL will make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on December 31, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Mathew GOFORTH will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on February 4, 2019 at 9:30 am.
