Three females and one male are facing charges after an incident on Monday afternoon.
On December 31, 2018 at approximately 12:15 p.m., police observed a vehicle which was confirmed to be stolen. Three females and one male were inside. On Broder Street and College Avenue, one male suspect fled from the vehicle. The male suspected was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. The male was charged in relation to the stolen auto and was also the subject of 17 outstanding warrants.
The vehicle was stopped on Broder Street and 17th Avenue where the three female suspects were arrested and charged.
Twenty-three year-old Calvin Roy SPARVIER, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained crime over $5000 [355(A) CC];
- 3 x Possession of property obtained crime under $5000 [355(B) CC]; and
- Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC].
Twenty-five year-old Chantelle Renee FRIDAY, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained crime over $5000 [355(A) CC];
- 3 x Possession of property obtained crime under $5000 [355(B) CC];
- Obstruct a peace officer [129(A) CC]; and
- Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC].
Twenty-eight year-old Kristina Leah CARTY, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained crime over $5000 [355(A) CC]; and
- 3 x Possession of property obtained crime under $5000 [355(B) CC].
SPARVIER, FRIDAY and CARTY appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on January 2, 2019, 9:30 a.m.
Twenty-seven year-old Andrea Beryl HUSBAND, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of a weapon [88 CC]; and
- Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC].
HUSBAND will appear in Provincial Court for these charges on February 13, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
