Two males face a charge of aggravated assault after an incident in the 1200 block of Robinson Street.
On Thursday, April 25, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Robinson Street for a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, an injured 22 year-old male was located leaving the 1200 block of Robinson Street on foot into an apartment building at 1300 Retallack Street. Police located the male inside the building. EMS arrived and the injured male was transported to hospital.
Investigation led to two males, who were located nearby, arrested, and charged. A search revealed a firearm.
Fifty-seven year-old Terrance Larry YUZICAPPI, of Regina, and forty-one year-old Tyrone Gregory Keith RYDER, of Standing Buffalo First Nation, are jointly charged with aggravated assault [CC 268(1)].
RYDER is also charged with:
- Careless use of a firearm [CC 86(1)]; and
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm [CC 91(1)].
Both charged made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on April 26, 2019, at 9:30 a.m.
