A 32 year-old Regina male is facing four charges in connection with a collision that occurred on Saturday, April 13, 2019, in the intersection of Arcola Avenue and Fleury Street. The collision, which involved a car and a motorcycle sent both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle to hospital with injuries.
Police were dispatched to the area of Arcola Avenue and Fleury Street at about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th. The initial information indicated a white car and a motorcycle collided in the intersection and there were people injured. Police and EMS arrived and found two injured persons: a 40 year-old male and a 19 year-old female. Both were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries consistent with being thrown from the motorcycle. Upon investigation by police at the scene, the male driver of the white car was placed under arrest and taken into custody. Further investigation led to alcohol–related charges against the driver of the car.
Thirty-two year-old Dylan James DUBOIS, of Regina, is charged with:
- 2 x Impaired operation of a motor vehicle, causing bodily harm [320.14(20 CC]; and
- 2 x Exceed .08, causing bodily harm [320.14(20 CC].
DUBOIS was released on a JP Undertaking to appear in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
