The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred yesterday evening.
Police were dispatched, at about 9:50 p.m., on Monday, May 27, 2019, to a business in the 4800 block of Dewdney Avenue. Information received in the call indicated the business had just been robbed by a male believed to have a firearm. The suspect demanded, and received, cash from staff in the business. No one was physically injured in this robbery. The suspect was gone before police arrived at the scene. Attempts to locate the suspect in the area were negative. At this time, police are gathering any available information that may help identify the suspect.
The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on foot on Royal Street. The male suspect was described as Indigenous, 5’5″ – 5’7″, approximately 25 years-old, white shiny hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing a black hoodie and dirty baggy pants.
