The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a weapons offence that occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on July 31st, 2019, in the area of 900 block Elphinstone Street in Regina.
On Wednesday July 31st, 2019, at approximately 5:05 p.m., it was reported to police that in the 900 block Elphinstone Street, an older, red Jeep style SUV was parked in the area. There with three male occupants in the vehicle. A 40 year-old, female victim was walking by the vehicle when the front passenger pointed a long barreled firearm at her. The female was able to walk away without further incident and the vehicle drove off. The victim was not physically injured as a result of the incident.
The three suspects were all described as being Indigenous males. The suspect who pointed the firearm was also described as having shoulder length, bushy, black hair.
The suspect vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on 3rd Avenue.
