A 23 year-old male has been charged with aggravated assault, assault and theft after an incident in the early morning hours on Tuesday.
On August 20, 2019 at approximately 1:25 a.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 4200 block of Albert Street for a report of an assault. It’s alleged a male suspect had entered the business, took some items, and a physical altercation between the male and an employee occurred. The suspect left the business and assaulted a person outside the business before fleeing the scene on foot. Police located the suspect in the area of 13th Avenue and Albert Street. The suspect was arrested and charged without incident. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Twenty-three year old Kristopher Jordan HOLOMAY of Winnipeg, Man., is charged with:
- Assault [266 CC];
- Aggravated assault [268(1) CC];
- Theft under $5000 [334(B) CC]; and
- 2 x Fail to comply with probation order [733.1(1) CC].
HOLOMAY will appear in Provincial Court for these charges on August 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
