The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist in solving a home invasion Break, Enter and Robbery that occurred on the weekend.
On September 2, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Queen Street for a report of a Robbery. The female resident of the house had sustained an injury from an assault. EMS attended and treated the victim. The preliminary investigation indicates a suspect male entered the house, assaulted the female victim, and then demanded money and medication from the two residents: a 59 year-old male and 49 year-old female. The suspect is described as a young-adult male, about 5’ 5” tall, weighing about 125 pounds, slim build, dressed in black, wearing black glasses and a covering over his face. The suspect was armed with large bladed weapon and what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money, medication and other personal items from the couple before fleeing. This investigation is ongoing.
