The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a weapons offence that occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on September 8th, 2019, in the area of 3500 block Dewdney Avenue in Regina.
On Sunday September 8th, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m., it was reported to police that in the 3500 block Dewdney Avenue a male suspect drove into the area and unloaded a garden tractor from his truck. The suspect wanted the 33 year-old male victim to buy the tractor. The victim refused and the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim. The victim walked away from the suspect without incident. The suspect was not known to the victim. The victim was not physically injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect was described as Indigenous, male, 5’10”, short brown hair, and wearing dark sunglasses and a vest.
The suspect vehicle was described as a 2004-2010, blue, Ford F150 truck with no a tailgate. The truck also had a broken passenger tailgate and a dent on the passenger side of the box.
