Three adults (two males and one female) have been charged following investigation into recent property crime incidents involving theft from auto and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Sometime during the night of September 5, 2019, a vehicle was broken into at a parking lot on Empress Street. The suspect or suspects took the victim’s keys, identification and cash. Investigation into this incident led to police arresting three individuals in a car, in the 4800 block of Harbour Landing Drive at approximately 8:30 p.m. on September 6, 2019. The vehicle had been reported stolen on August 30th. The stolen vehicle had a license plate that had been stolen from a different vehicle. In the arrest, a small quantity of methamphetamine was found on one of the male suspects. Further investigation led to charges against all three suspects.
Twenty-six year-old Cole Phillipe AUSSANT, of Regina Beach, 23 year-old Shianna Spring KAKAKAWAY, of Regina, and 23 year-old Tyler Wayne PAMBRUN, of Regina are jointly charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 (car) [355(a) CC];
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 (license plate) [355(b) CC].
In addition, AUSSANT is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 (various) [355(b) CC].
In addition, Tyler PAMBRUN is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 (various) [355(b) CC] and
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance [4(1) CDSA].
Each of the three accused were released on an Officer’s Undertaking and will make their first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on October 28, 2019.
