Police have laid new robbery-related charges against a 50 year-old male in connection with an August 25th robbery at a business in the 800 block of Argyle Street North. This individual, and a second accused male are also now charged with an earlier robbery, which occurred in July, 2019.
On Sunday, August 25, 2019, at about 1:04 a.m., police were dispatched to a robbery at a business in the 800 block Argyle Street North. Initial information indicated there were two males with guns inside the establishment. When police arrived, one suspect, who had gotten into a physical confrontation with witnesses/victims inside, was still in the business. The 64 year-old male was charged and investigation continued to identify and locate the second suspect. Ongoing investigation led to charges, on September 5, 2019, against a second person, a 50 year-old male.
The earlier robbery occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at about 1:15 a.m. Police were dispatched to a robbery at a business in the 900 block of East Arcola Avenue. In that event, two male suspects, armed with what appeared to be firearms, entered the business, demanded money and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. As the result of ongoing investigation into this event, police arrested and charged a 64 year-old male and a 50 year-old male, both of Regina, on September 4th and September 5th, respectively.

Sixty-four year-old Ronald George GREAVES, of Regina, is charged with:

- 2 x Disguise With Intent [351(2) CC];
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [91(1) CC]; and
- 2 x Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC].
GREAVES made his first court appearances on August 26th, in connection with the August 25th robbery; and September 5th, in connection with the July 10th robbery.
Fifty year-old Christian Dean PIERCE, of Regina, is charged with:
- 2 x Armed Robbery Using a Firearm [344(1)(A.1)CC];
- 2 x Disguise With Intent [351(2) CC];
- 2 x Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [91(1) CC];
- 2 x Possession of a Firearm contrary to prohibition [117.01(1) CC]; and
- 2 x Breach of Undertaking [145(5.1) CC].
PIERCE made his first court appearances on all charges in Provincial Court on Friday, September 6, 2019.
