An eighteen year-old male faces charges after a series of break and enters and thefts that occurred on the night of Friday, October 18, 2019 and the early morning of Saturday, October 19, 2019.
On October 19, 2019, at approximately 5:50 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 2100 block of Green Willow Terrace, where a resident reported that their garage was broken into, and items of value were stolen, along with a vehicle. Police located the stolen vehicle, stopped and vacant, on the 1700 block of Elphinstone Street.
Investigation led to an 18 year-old male, who was also found to be involved in multiple break and enters and thefts overnight, including a residence in the 4000 block of Lakeview Avenue where another vehicle was stolen, both attempted and completed break and enters on the 4300 block of Green Apple Drive, and an attempted break and enter on Green Poplar Lane.
The 18 year-old male was located, and arrested and charged on October 30, 2019.
Eighteen year-old Logan ACROSSTHEMOUNTAIN, of Regina, is charged with:
- 5 X Break, enter, and commit [CC 348(1)(B)];
- 2 X Theft of motor vehicle [CC 333.1(1)];
- 2 X Possession of credit card [CC 342(1)(C)];
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 [CC 355(A)]; and
- Break and enter with intent [CC 348(1)(A)].
ACROSSTHEMOUNTAIN makes his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, October 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.
