A 25 year-old male has been arrested and charged after a robbery to a business on Saturday morning.
On November 16, 2019 at approximately 8:10 a.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 3500 block of 5th Ave for a report of a robbery in progress. The suspect was reportedly threatening staff with a weapon in order to steal cash and merchandise.
With the help of a witness, police located the suspect near 5th Ave and Montague St; he was then arrested and charged.
The weapon, stolen merchandise and cash were recovered at the scene of the arrest.
Twenty five year-old Matthew Leslie John BUMPHREY of Regina is charged with:
- Robbery [344(1)(B) CC];
BUMPHREY will appear in Provincial Court November 18, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
