The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased female.
Police were dispatched at approximately 11:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 5, 2020, to a residence in the 1500 block of Cameron Street for a report of a female who appeared to be deceased. Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner.
A number of investigative processes are underway, including identification of the deceased and notification of next of kin.
Police are working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service to fully investigate and clarify the circumstances surrounding this death.
