A 60 year-old male has been charged with Sexual Assault after police investigation into an incident reported earlier this month.
On February 2, 2020, police received a report of a sexual assault alleged to have occurred earlier that day at a clinic in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue, which offers traditional Chinese medicine. The 21 year-old victim indicated she had been to the clinic before for treatment, but on this occasion, the practitioner touched her in a sexual way without her consent. After investigation by the Regina Police Service Vulnerable Persons section, a 60 year-old male was arrested, without incident, on February 9, 2020, and charged.
Sixty year-old Kui ZHONG LU, of Regina, has been charged with Sexual Assault, contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code. LU was released on an undertaking to appear in court on March 18, 2020.
