Two males are facing a number of charges related to a string of robberies which occurred in Regina on Sunday and early Monday morning.
On Sunday February 2, 2020, at approximately 5:47 p.m. police members were dispatched to a store in the 0-99 block of Cavendish Street. The employee reported a male had come into the business with a knife and demanded money before leaving the scene in a vehicle. Patrol set up a perimeter and a K9 team attempted a track but the suspect was not located. The employee was not physically harmed. Later that night, at approximately 10:45 p.m., police were called to another store in the 200 block of East Broadway. In this instance, two males came into the business. One demanded cash from the employee at the counter, but the males left the store without getting any cash or merchandise. The third robbery occurred just after midnight at 12:17 a.m. on February 3rd. Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Eastgate Drive. The information indicated two males were hiding in the parking lot of a business just as employees were closing for the night.
