On February 6, 2020, as a result of a several month ongoing investigation, the Regina Police Service Street Gang Unit located and charged an adult male in relation to an Attempt Murder investigation that began September 19, 2019, where the victim was shot with a firearm in the 2100blk of Osler Street.
On February 7, 2020, a second male was also charged with Attempt Murder in relation to the same event and investigation.
Thirty-six year old Thomas Adam STEVENSON, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Attempt Murder contrary to contrary to section 239 of the Criminal Code.
Thirty two year old Glenn Travis SUTHERLAND, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Attempt Murder, contrary to contrary to section 239 of the Criminal Code and
- Possess a Firearm While Prohibited From Doing So, contrary to section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code.
STEVENSON made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on February 7, 2020. SUTHERLAND made first court appearance on these charges at 9:30 a.m. on February 10, 2020.
