An adult male and an adult female are facing charges as the result of an investigation into stolen property.
On Wednesday, February 19th, 2020, police executed a search warrant in the 100 block of St. John Street N. Inside the residence, police located a firearm and ammunition, as well as multiple tools that were confirmed to be stolen. It is believed the items were stolen in two separate break and enter incidents: on February 15, 2020, to a detached garage in the 200 block of St. John Street; and February 17, 2020, to a detached garage in the 1700 block of 6th Avenue North.
In connection with the February 17th garage Break & Enter, 23 year-old Joseph Cole CURTIN, of Regina, has been charged with:
• Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 [CC 355 (B)];
• Unauthorized Possession of A Firearm [CC 91 (1)];
• Possession of A Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained By Crime [CC 96 (1)];
• Careless Use of A Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition [CC 86 (1)];
• Failure to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1 (1)].
In connection to the Break and Enter in the 200 block of St. John Street, Joseph Cole CURTIN is charged with:
• Break and Enter [348(1)(b) CC]; and
• Failure to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1 (1)].
Twenty three year-old Ember Jade LAROSE, of Regina, has been charged with:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 [CC 355 (B)];
• Fraud Under $5000 [CC 380 (1)(B)].
LAROSE made her first court appearance on her charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m., today (Thursday), February 20, 2020.
CURTIN made his first court appearance on his charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. today (Thursday), February 20, 2020.
