The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased person.
On Thursday, April 23, 2020 at approximately 12:40 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Princess Street for a report of a deceased person at a residence. Police and EMS attended and located a person, who was confirmed deceased. Officers secured the immediate area and requested the additional resources of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner. At this time, investigators are working to identify the deceased individual in order to notify next-of-kin.
