A 19 year-old male is facing charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm after a collision early Saturday morning, April 18, 2020. The driver and three female passengers sustained injuries when a vehicle struck a tree.
On Saturday, April 18, 2020, at approximately 1:29 a.m., several police units were dispatched to Massey Road for a report of a collision. Initial police units at the scene blocked traffic, while firefighters tried to free the driver, who was pinned in a vehicle. It appeared the vehicle was travelling eastbound before striking the tree. Police began their investigation into the collision as the driver and three female passengers (ages 20, 21 and 21) were transported by EMS to hospital. While officers accompanied the injured to hospital, patrol and traffic members held the scene in order to collect evidence. Further investigation into this collision led to several charges against the driver of the car.
Nineteen year-old Sean Michael PELLETIER, of Regina, is charged with:
- 3 X Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm; and
- 3 X Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
PELLETIER made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2020.
