On the evening of Monday, April 27, 2020, the Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Crisis Negotiators, and Canine, were deployed as part of a police investigation to the 1400 block of Robinson Street. Police efforts were carried out without incident. Several people were safely taken into custody and the investigation is continuing.
Further media release will be done pending the conclusion of the investigation.
It is anticipated there will be criminal charges as the result of this incident; however, the investigation is ongoing and there are no other details available for release at this time.
In relation to the earlier public advisory requesting motorists and pedestrians to choose alternate routes and those in the area to shelter in place, the area of 1400 block Robinson Street is clear to resume regular activities.
