The Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU) completed a drug trafficking investigation with enforcement action in the City of Regina on Thursday, April 30, 2020. As a result, four adults are facing charges under the CDSA and the Criminal Code.
Members of the Regina Drug Unit with the assistance of uniform members, stopped a vehicle on Highway #1 just west of Regina. Four adults – two males and two females – were arrested as a result. A search of the occupants and vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 300 grams of Fentanyl and $1500.00 Canadian Currency.
Twenty-three year-old Both REAT, of Calgary Alberta, was charged with the following:
– Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA;
– Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00, Section 355(b) CC;
– Obstruction, section 129(a); and
– Canada Wide Warrant out of Alberta.
Twenty year-old Kuanyliet KOGALT, of Calgary Alberta, was charged with the following:
– Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA; and
– Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000.00, Section 355(b) CC.
Twenty year-old Larissa HOWARD, of Calgary Alberta, was charged with the following:
– Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA.
Nineteen year-old Takhajwak OLOK, of Calgary Alberta, was charged with the following:
– Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Section 5(2) CDSA.
All four made their first court appearances in Provincial Court on April 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
