A 42 year-old male is facing charges including attempted murder after an incident on Saturday morning.
On Saturday, June 20, 2020 at approximately 7:40 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Scarth Street for a report of a weapons offence. Early information suggested a male suspect had assaulted multiple people.
When police arrived, they located multiple people inside the residence. Three people had been injured as a result of the alleged assault. One male victim was treated by EMS on scene, and a second was transported to hospital by EMS with minor injuries. The third male victim was transported to hospital by EMS with a serious, but not-life threatening head injury. Police also located the suspect male inside the residence. As a result:
Forty two year-old Rodney James GEDDES of Regina has been charged with:
- Attempted Murder [CC 239];
- Assault With A Weapon [CC 267 (A)]; and
- Assault [CC 266].
GEDDES made his first appearance in Provincial Court this morning (June 22, 2020) at 9:00 a.m.
