On Sunday, July 5, 2020 at approximately 2:45 a.m., police observed a stolen vehicle driving in the 800 block of Retallack Street. A tire deflation device (spike belt) was deployed in the area of 2nd Avenue and Montague Street and the vehicle came to a stop nearby. Two male occupants inside the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.
Following the arrest, the vehicle was searched and officers located two BB guns with ammunition. As a result:
Twenty nine year-old Shyrone Lloyd Alan ALLARY, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000 [CC 355 (A)];
- 2 X Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [CC 117.01 (1)];
- Fail to Comply With Condition of a Release Order [CC 145 (5)(A)]; and
- Fail to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1 (1)].
Thirty nine year-old Robin James FAVEL, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000 [CC 355 (A)]; and
- 2 X Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [CC 117.01 (1)].
Both ALLARY and FAVEL made their first court appearances on these charges this morning (Monday, July 6, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
