Investigation into these offences resulted in identification of a suspect and linking the offences to the same (likely) suspect. Warrants were obtained for the arrest of this individual and his identity and photo made public; however, it was the astute observation of an officer that led to the arrest of the suspect. On August 13, 2020, at approximately 9:14 p.m., a Regina Police Service member saw the suspect, riding a bicycle, approaching a multi-unit residence in the 3600 block of East Haughton Road. A perimeter was set up and when the suspect emerged from the building parkade, on a different bicycle, police officers, including Canine members, made the arrest without incident. A search, incident to arrest, led to discovery of break and enter tools in a backpack. Further investigation led to numerous charges.
