The Regina Police Service is looking for information from the public that could help in an investigation into shots fired in the 2300 block of Robinson Street around midnight Friday night/Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020, police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Robinson Street after residents called about the sound of gun shots in the area. Police initially spoke to witness who had heard the sounds and saw a white truck speeding northbound in the 2300 block of Robinson Street. The officers started knocking on doors to determine which house had been the target and also to check for surveillance video. They eventually found the apparent target of the shooting from damage to the door and a porch window. Police spoke with the occupants of the house, who were unhurt. At this stage, police do not have enough information to determine the identity of a suspect or suspects, and it is not known if the white truck is directly involved.
Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The Regina Police Service thanks the public and the media for their cooperation and assistance in this matter.
