Two Regina males are facing charges after an early morning robbery yesterday.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at approximately 6:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Scarth Street for a report of a weapons offence. Early information suggested a male was robbed at knifepoint while standing outside a business. The suspect allegedly approached the victim, asked for a cigarette, then threatened the victim and demanded cash and belongings. The suspect fled in a vehicle with a sum of cash and the victim’s cell phone.
Investigation led police to the 2000 block of Edward Street. A search of a residence resulted in police locating the victim’s cell phone, cash, a knife, as well as clothing that was allegedly worn by the suspect during the robbery. Four people inside the home were arrested. Two of the four were released and two males were charged.
Twenty-five year-old LANDON ELI KEEPNESS of Regina is charged with:

Nineteen-year-old GABRIEL DYLAN MCKAY of Regina is charged with:
- Obstructing a Peace Officer [129(a)CC]
- Breach of Condition of Release Order [145(5)(a)CC]
Both KEEPNESS and MCKAY made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today: Thursday, November 5, 2020.
