A trail of investigation from a break and enter, across neighbouring jurisdictions, has led to charges against a 36 year-old Regina male.
On December 14, 2020, the Regina Police Service received a report about a possible Regina connection to a Break and Enter which was under investigation by the RCMP. The B&E happened three weeks earlier near Indian Head. In that incident, a number of tools and equipment were stolen from a Quonset outside of Indian Head. The investigation led to Regina, where on December 27th, police obtained a search warrant giving authorization to conduct a search of an individual’s property in the 1300 block of York Street. Stolen property was recovered in the search. The male occupant of the residence was charged.
Thirty-six year-old Landon Henry PURA, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 [355(b) CC];
- Breach of Conditions of a Release Order [145(5)(a) CC];
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]; and
- Trafficking Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 [355.2 CC].
PURA was released with a court date of April 19, 2021, in Provincial Court.
