The Regina Police Service wishes to remind the public that we are still asking assistance in locating an adult female who is missing. Since January 7, 2021, police have been trying to locate 25 year-old Shaniah Theresa McNAB, but according to her family, she has not been seen since December 24, 2020. Police efforts to locate Shaniah Theresa McNAB have, so far, been unsuccessful.
Shaniah Theresa McNAB was last seen around noon on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24th) in the 1000 block of College Avenue. Her family is concerned for her well-being, telling police that she does not currently have a fixed home address. She typically visits with family regularly, or is sometimes seen in some downtown locations, but this lack of contact is unusual for her. Her family and now police are concerned for her health and safety. Photos of Shaniah Theresa McNAB accompany this release.
Shaniah Theresa McNAB is described as female, Indigenous, about 5’ 6” tall, thin build, weighing about 95 pounds. She has a medium complexion, wavy shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. She is known to change her hair colour to red. She has a crown tattoo above her left eyebrow, the word “god” tattooed on the right hand, the word “gift” tattooed on the left hand, and other miscellaneous tattoos on her fingers. Shaniah Theresa McNAB has not been active on social media recently and does not have a cellphone.
