On February 24, 2021, as a result of an ongoing investigation by the Regina Police Service Street Gang Unit, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant was authorized for a residence in the 700 block of Robinson Street. With the assistance of the Online Property Unit, and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) to gain entry into the residence, three people were safely taken into custody. Upon further investigation, two people were released without charges. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.
Thirty five year old Shannon WOOLSEY, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)]; and
- Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)].
WOOLSEY made her first court appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today: Thursday, February 25, 2021.
