A Regina male is facing charges after an investigation into multiple property-related offences.
On March 7, 2021, a break and enter occurred at a compound in Emerald Park and several items were stolen. The break and enter was reported to White Butte RCMP and video surveillance identified a suspect. Members of the Regina Police Service were able to identify the suspect and as a result, a male was arrested in Regina on Thursday, March 11th, 2021. Following the arrest, police executed a search warrant of the male’s residence and vehicle. During the search, police located numerous stolen items relating to the break and enter on March 7 in Emerald Park, as well as three other recent break and enters in Emerald Park and in the RM of Sherwood.
Police also recovered a significant amount of property that was reported stolen in a number of thefts in Regina. As a result:
Thirty-seven year-old Jason Douglas MILLER, of Regina, has been charged with:
Possession Of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 [CC 355 (B)];
Fail To Comply With Condition of a Release Order [CC 145 (5)(A)].
MILLER has also been charged with multiple offences by White Butte RCMP relating to the break and enters occurring in Emerald Park and the RM of Sherwood.
MILLER made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
