The Regina Police Service has updated information to provide to our community about Jason Paul THORN, who was the subject of a Public Disclosure Notice, issued earlier this month, on March 11, 2021, under the authority of and pursuant to the Saskatchewan Public Disclosure Act. Forty-four year-old Jason Paul THORN is no longer residing in Regina, as of today’s date: March 29, 2021.
It is important to note that the arrest of Jason Paul THORN is not the result of a new criminal offence. Jason THORN was arrested at his place of residence on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 1:46 p.m., without incident. THORN’s arrest was the result of a mandatory suspension warrant, issued by Correctional Service Canada. The reason for the suspension was a change in THORN’s assessment, indicating an increase in risk and deteriorating behavior.
The original public advisory has been removed from public view, since this individual has been returned to closed custody.
