The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in the investigation of an assault that occurred late last night.
On May 6, 2020 at approximately 11:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 1100 block of Robinson Street for a report of someone who had been shot. When arrived they found an adult male victim, who’d sustained an apparent gunshot wound, on the front deck of the home. The male was transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The victim told police that he was in a bedroom in the residence when a male and a female entered the home. It is not clear if the victim knew his assailants. It’s alleged the two suspects demanded the victim hand over several items and then shot him and fled before police were called.
Anyone who has information to assist police may contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
