The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that may assist in an investigation into an aggravated assault and robbery that occurred this morning.
On Thursday, May 20, 2021 at approximately 10:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of an assault in the 1800 block of Toronto Street. Early information suggested an individual was checking on a vacant property when the individual was attacked and assaulted with what was believed to be a metal object. The victim’s phone was also said to be stolen during the assault. The victim attended to hospital with minor injuries.
Police attended to the residence to investigate, and to the hospital to speak with the victim. Three suspects were said to be inside the property when the assault occurred. Minimal descriptions are available, but the suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 – Male, Indigenous, in his 20s, with a tall, thin build.
Suspect #2 – Male, Indigenous, in his 40s, about 6”0 tall with a medium build.
Suspect #3 – Female, Indigenous, aged 30-40, short in height.
