Two adult males and one adult female have been charged in connection with a homicide that occurred in Regina over the weekend. The sixth victim of homicide in Regina in 2021 has been identified as 52 year-old Robert Henry FUCHS, originally of Carnduff, Saskatchewan. His family has been notified of his death.
At approximately 12:17 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, members of the Regina Police Service were dispatched to hospital for a report of an injured male. The male victim was later pronounced deceased. The investigation led police to a residence on the 1300 block of Garnet Street. Continued investigation into this death, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, resulted in the arrest of three individuals, who were subsequently charged with second degree murder.
The accused are: 35 year-old Marley Dawn McARTHUR, 36 year-old Richard William SNYDER, and 24 year-old Anthony Allan RUS, all of Regina. The three are jointly accused with Second-Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code. McARTHUR and SNYDER are each individually charged with Breach of Undertaking, section 145(5)(a) CC. RUS is also charged with a Breach of Recognizance, section 145(5)(a) CC.
All three accused persons will make their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021. This investigation is ongoing.
