The Regina Police is continuing its investigation into a vehicle/pedestrian collision which occurred on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the intersection of Prince of Wales Drive and Victoria Avenue East in Regina, which is now also a death investigation. The pedestrian victim: a 68 year-old female, has passed away.
Police were dispatched to the area at approximately 10:48 a.m. on May 31, for the report of a pedestrian struck by a semi-truck. Police, EMS and other emergency personnel arrived at the scene and the victim was taken to hospital by EMS.
The name of the victim will not be released by the Regina Police Service. The investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
